How Do I Return Delilah?

So, you or someone you know has Delilah, but do not know how to go about returning her and claiming the reward.  We understand.  It's a tricky situation.  First, we do not want to press charges for either the stolen car, stolen objects in the car, nor Delilah's catnapping. Be assured that we won't have police waiting to haul you down to the jail and book you.  That's not how to encourage someone to return our missing, and very loved, furbaby Delilah now is it?

Here is what we are proposing.  It's simple!

1. Contact us via email or a private message through our social media accounts and let us know you will bring Delilah to one of the local shelters and tell them you found her as a stray cat!  If you live in Milwaukee County, you will need to bring her to MADACC (link below). For Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Brown, and Door counties she would go to WI Humane Society (link below). Waukesha county she would go to HAWS.
2. Once Delilah has been processed as an intake at the shelter, she will be assigned an ID number.  You can find this on her stray page on the shelter's website.
3. Email us at delilahmkecat@gmail.com and let us know you have brought Delilah to the shelter, and let us know which shelter, and her ID number. 
4. We will check with the shelter that the cat is indeed Delilah.  She has specific features that we will confirm including her tabby stripe pattern, eye color, spay status, and of course her very special polydactyl toes!
5. Once we have confirmed that it is indeed Delilah, we will arrange for the cash reward in a manner that is safe for both parties.
